Daily Routine

Everyone’s daily routine is different, but the language and vocabulary we all use is quite similar. Here is a description of my day – I have made the common terms bold to help you.
Feel free to post your own daily routines in the comments below.
Every day for me is slightly different, but this is a typical day.

My alarm goes off at 5:30am. I wake up, turn it off and get out of bed.

I brush my teeth and fill the kettle. Then I take a shower. When I finish in the shower, I dry myself then shave.

Then I get dressed and brush my hair. I go into the kitchen and make a cup of tea. I don’t usually eat breakfast.
I turn on my computer and check my emails and messages. Then I practise some Spanish vocabulary using Anki flashcards. I normally practise some writing at this time too. My work starts at 6:30am and I will have classes with one or two students early in the morning.

Then I take a break and go for a walk (normally to the supermarket). When I get home I prepare my classes for the next day and do a little housework.

Normally I have more classes in the late morning and early afternoon. I will have a little lunch. Then when I finish work, I usually go for another walk and then relax by reading or listening to music.
I usually have dinner at around 6pm and then in the evening I watch TV. I like to watch football.
I normally go to bed at around 9pm.

What is your daily routine like?
